Ride To Shelby Museum, Aug 4, 2007

Gary Lasater reports:
It was a great day to meet everyone in Golden and cruise up the mountain through Nederland and back to Boulder to visit the Shelby Museum. We had a total of 10 cars on the run.

We had 5 roadsters with John Over running Jack’s old white 2000, Ad Hulse had his white 2000, and Gary Lasater ran his yellow 2000. Greg Cheer showed up with his red 1600 and AJ Lasater (wow the kid’s 16 now) drove the white and black 1600.

Jim McGinnis decided to blow up his 1600 motor, so he showed up driving his Mercedes red convertible.

John Over’s wife was driving their green 240 Z and Dan Bailin joined us again with his silver 240 Z. Also two friend’s of John’s at the Z club drove their 240 and 280 Z ( red and blue).

Got a few sprinkle’s around Nederland, but otherwise a beautiful day

John Over adds:
Our day included meeting at Loaf and Jug in Goldern and departing for a drive up Golden Gate Canyon and up Hwy 119 to Nederland for a brief stop. It was on the cool side in Nederland and just starting to rain. We beat the rain down the canyon and headed into the 90+ degree heat of the city. We saw the beautiful and exotic cars at the museum and headed on to lunch. We found Boulder Beer to be closed on the weekends so we ate at Islands at the 29th street center in Boulder. In attendance were:
John Over 2000
Add Hulse 2000
Greg Cheer 1600
Gary Lasater, AJ, and family with their 1600 and 2000
Arlene Over 240Z
