Pine Rhubarb Festival and Parade, 10-Jun-06
The 2006 Pine Rhubarb Festival was a hit with Seven WYCROC cars at the
festival. This year we were the FEATURED CAR CLUB. Cars in
attendance were Gary Lasater with his '63 1500 and '70 Yellow 2000,
Jack Davis in his white '69 2000 and his wife Chris with her beautiful
blue '70 1600, Jim McGinnis with his Corvette Cooper colored '70 1600,
Ad Hulse, with his white '70 2000, and Harry Sherwood, with his '68
red 1600. A good share of us met at the 285 and Co. 8 intersection
and cruised up to Pine together. Nice community and fund raising
event for the Pine Volunteer Fire District. Even Smokey the Bear made
a ride in the parade.
(by the way, Harry is the original owner of this 1600 he bought in
So. California in '68 after coming out of the military. Originally he
was thinking a Camaro, but his good senses brought him to the 1600)
