Ft.Morgan Fall Harvest Car Show, Sep 15, 2007

It was a beautiful day on Saturday September 15th when Gary Lasater in his yellow 2000 met up with Scott Sheeler at the Bromley Lane exit on 1-76 for a run to Ft. Morgan. Scott is just about ready to bring his ’68 2000 roadster out from Georgia, but it was not here for the Fall Festival Car show in Ft. Morgan. Scott is getting excited that his car is about ready for transport to Colorado and will be ready next spring to join in the WyCROC festivities. Gary and Scott met up with Bob Bragg and Andy and Emily Achziger in Ft. Morgan and had a great day showing off their cars, talking with folks and viewing all the other cars in the show. The event had about 300 cars show up for a great day of music, raffle prizes and fun. Scott had to leave a little early, but Bob and Andy and their entire families along with Gary and Coby had a great Italian dinner in town

Check in time - Bob Bragg talking in the red jacket talking with Gary L. as he arrived in Ft. Morgan for the event. (unfortunately we did not get a shot of Bob’s white 2000, which was sitting in another area of the show reserved for the event volunteers)

Shots out the front of Scott Sheeler’s car of Gary L’s 2000 cruising up I-76. Scott helped Gary calibrate his speedometer, which appears to be 10% fast, so those 90 MPH speeds are really only a mere 81 - 82 MPH. (Gary got miffed and when he got home he switched out the 1600 120 MPH speedo the previous owner had put in the car, for a good used 140 MPH speedo and is working to find out the true speeds - but now even if it is off 10% the 140 will be around 125)
